Telework

Also called remote work, distance work, mobile work, and electronic homework. For a variety of reasons, workers may choose to conduct their work from locations other than their home office, and when visiting the office such workers may share available desk or office space. When away from the home office, such workers may work out of satellite offices that several companies might make use of. Communication is maintained primarily by telephone, email, or other electronic means. (see Connell, 2002; Fischer & Fisher, 2001)
