Globalization

The trend through which all economic, cultural, cultural, and political activities are intensely mediated through global rather than local or national systems. Although various systems have sought such global reach, capitalism has by far been the most effective in implementing this trend. As world economies and the productive resources that they represent become more strongly interdependent, connected, and tightly rationalized through market pressures, there will be enormous impact on the career development and work activities of individuals worldwide.
